2011 - 2012 BAC Age Group Swim A Long
Dolphins – Blues – Snappers – Streaks (No TYM)
January 16 – 20, 2012
Whether or not athletes participate in the fundraising, all Dolphins, Blues, Snappers and Streaks are expected to participate in the 1 hour swim.
Please email to confirm your planned attendance at the day and location assigned to your group. If you are unable to attend, please indicate ASAP. Each athlete will
need a parent or friend to be on deck 15 minutes prior to the start, ready to count laps with a piece of paper and a pencil. Although TYM do not participate as athletes,
they are always welcome to attend any one of the swim a longs to watch and cheer if they wish. The Swim-a-long flyer will be available for download soon.
As in previous years, BSA will be offering the Bag Tags and after swim snack to all Swim A Long Participants.

Roadwork to Affect BAC

Springfield Avenue and Passaic Street(New Providence) are due to be resurfaced starting on or around October 14th.
No definite date has been set yet. Springfield will be milled and resurfaced from the NP/Summit border to the train bridge
just past BAC. Passaic will be milled and resurfaced from the center of NP to the bridge over the Passaic.
The roads will be closed at some times both day and night and will take approximately two weeks.

Obviously this will affect driving to BAC and Drew so please plan accordingly.
